We sense that an increasing number of parallel societies are taking shape. In our multicultural neighborhood, many young people harbor a great potential for violence because they have not had an education and lack job opportunities. For us it is important to make some small steps. We try not to pass them by thoughtlessly but look for ways to reach out and get in touch with them. In the same way, we have deliberately chosen, as a community, to do our shopping in the small stores in our neighborhood in order to get to know and support the owners who come from very different countries.
