What do we live?

Contemplation

« For me, in essence, prayer is life »

L.sr. Magdeleine

To be contemplative women is the heart of our mission, and the path of our entire life. Welcoming God’s loving gaze into our being teaches us to find God present in the most obscure corners of our daily routines. The wounded persons we encounter, the depths of our seemingly most hopeless situations—our daily lives become the place where we meet God.

To be a contemplative is to live a deep and intimate friendship with Jesus. This way encompasses and unites every aspect of our life: our womanhood, our history, our talents, our fragilities. We experience the reality that, when we live in the light of God, nothing can separate us from His Love. Silence, prayer, and love for the Word are the basic elements enabling us to experience God’s presence in us and through us.
